Sarah Queen of the 20th Euro Meet

Sarah Sjöström won her first international gold medal 10 years ago at the European Swimming Championships in Eindhoven, and thereafter collected no less than 57 major international medals, including gold at Olympic Games, World and European Championships.
She started her 2018 season with 4 gold medals and 2 silver at the Euro Meet.
Further swimmers who won more than one gold medal: Kliment Kolesnikov 3, James Guy, Adam Peaty, Sarah Köhler, Georgia Davies and Jessica Steiger, 2 each.

An impressive field of champions at the start of the 20th Euro Meet will highlight the events. 24 men and 18 women had the honour to win 445 international medals at Olympic Games, world championships (long and short course), European championships (LC and sc), Pan American Games, Asian Championships, Commonwealth Games.

Swedish Swimming Queen Sarah Sjöström to attend

So proud to announce that Sarah Sjöström comes again to highlight d'Coque. Three gold medals last summer at the World Championships, one silver, and two world records at the 50m and 100m freestyle.
Sarah won her very first international gold medal ten years ago.

Strong GBR team at the Euromeet

The Commonwealth Games early April 2018 in Gold Coast (Australia) and the European Championships in August 2018 in Glasgow are the two highlights of the season for the British swimmers. No wonder they choose the Euromeet to show an early season top shape.

Brazil and Japan at D'Coque

World flavor at the Euromeet with the entry of Bruno Fratus from Brazil and Shinri Shioura from Japan. Two pure freestyle sprinters going to clash with Ben Proud (GBR), Jesse Puts (NED) and Andrii Govorov (UKR).

71 Olympic, World and European medals for Laszlo Cseh

It is with a massive tally of 71 international medals that Laszlo Cseh will attend the 2018 Euro Meet. He won his first medal in December 2002 at the European short course Championships in Riesa, where he finished third of the 400m individual Medley. Since then he attended all major event but one, collecting 35 golds, and reaching each time a podium, but two.

New Year's gift from Adam Peaty: I'm coming!

Have a close look to this gold medal (picture by DeepBlueMedia, Giorgio Scala): Adam Peaty offered it to a Danish girl, spectator at the recent European Short Course Championships held in Copenhagen.
And the other gift from Adam: he is attending the 20th EuroMeet.

New LUX record for Julien Henx

At the World CISM Championships (Conseil Interallié du Sport Militaire) in Rio de Janiero, Julien Henx bettered his own national record at the 50m butterfly in 24.20 (long course). His previous mark was 24.26 at a French meet in July in Limoges.
Raphael Stacchiotti won a Bronze Medal at the 200m im.

Govorov & C° from Copenhagen to Luxembourg

Lastest news from Ukraine and Hungary: champions Andrii Govorov (UKR), Evelyn Verrasto (HUN) and Dominik Kozma (HUN), who are on the entrylist  of the European short course Championships in Copengagen in a few days, will open their 2018 long course season at the Euro Meet.

Marco Koch for a 6th gold in-a-row ?

The great German breaststroke champion Marco Koch again at the Euro Meet ! Marco won all 200m breaststroke finals in a row since 2013, that is five gold. Will he be able to add another one to make it six?

Only two months to go...

The 2018 Euro Meet is due to start on January 26th, this is exactly in two months. A great event ahead for the 20th Euro Meet, an international event which began in 1999 and has been staged every year since.
Entries are coming in, and we have already some great names. These will be properly released soon, so stay tuned and follow us here, on FaceBook and/or on Twitter to know more about the entries.
